What is the National Council?
The National Council is the representative body of National and Regional UNYANZ office holders that meets 3-4 times a year around the country to discuss how the organisation is running and to give direction to those who are administering UNYANZ nationally (the National Executive), regionally (Regional Councils) and those running events or facilitating delegations.
Who is National Council?
National Council comprises of the National Executive (President, Vice President(s), Secretary, Treasurer and Immediate Past President), Regional Presidents, and other positions as appointed by the AGM. Those positions currently are: NZ Model UN Coordinator, NZ Model SC Coordinator, Webmaster, THIMUN Director, UNYC Facilitator, plus an extra representative from each of the four regions (Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago).
