UNYANZ: The Next Steps

UNYANZ: The Next Steps

On the 30th May 2010 UNYANZ celebrated its Tenth Birthday. It was a magical moment, marking the coming of age of one the most engaging youth organisations in New Zealand. It was also time to reflect on how far we have come as an organisation. Such a tremendous amount of growth has occurred in recent years: from how we run ourselves, to who our key partners here, and how we run our Model UN programme.

Recognising this, the UNYANZ National Council made the decision that in 2010 we were to run a National Conference. The Conference is an opportunity to impart knowledge onto the new generation of UNYANZ office holders. It is an opportunity to meet other people in the organisation. And an opportunity to decide, together, the future shape of UNYANZ.

The Conference is full up to the brim with workshops and speakers, food and fun! At the end of the weekend is the UNYANZ Annual General Meeting (AGM).

More information, plus registration details, can be found on the right. Please email Gina Manning at president@unyanz.co.nz if you have any questions.
