To be able to assess, and peg our progress in regards to our Model United Nations Programme, and other Educational events and opportunities we provide, we need to be able to gather data and compile it into a report for assessment by our National Council. Assessing any changes in structure of events at a regional level is the responsibility of our regions (Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago), but at a national level we collate information taken from in-depth evaluation forms that delegates to our New Zealand Model United Nations and New Zealand Model Security Council have completed.
Why is it important?
To be able to properly identify areas for improvement, as well as areas that are working well, UNYANZ needs an objective standard to work off. Having these evaluations allows us to do this. It is integral to the Strategic planning process that takes place in the July-December period in the UNYANZ calendar year. Without it, UNYANZ would not be able to continue to deliver the high quality events that it has done for the last ten years.
The evaluations are available below for anyone to download and view. If you have any questions, please direct them to the UNYANZ President (president@unyanz.co.nz) or the Vice President for Model UN (vp.modelun@unyanz.co.nz).
